  • Hello Daniel,

Thanks for the story! We currently offer two plaques of St. John and they are both by Donatello. You can find them here: https://www.capronicollection.com/search?q=st+john+donatello We do need to conduct further research to confirm that #29 is indeed by him.

  • Back in the mid 1960s when you were located under the El in Boston I purschased a St. John the Baptist plaque from Lino. I saw the original in a cathedral in Veron,Italy a few years ago. Lino told me the name of original scupter, but I am now 84 years old and can’t recall the name. Can you help me out.

  • Michael and Joanne, That’s wonderful! It sounds like you purchased an antique Caproni cast, and we’re so glad you’re enjoying it!

  • We purchased Boys Singing From Book at the Birmingham, Alabama Garden and Antique Show in October 2021.
It was an immediate capture of our attention and hearts when viewed. A prominent place for this relief is in our
dining room…….often singing along with the Boys. Thank you!

  • Very nice addition to your site! I would like to know the dimensions of the paper or canvas, for each artwork if possible, such as (16"X 24") or ?
